Something very strange is going on in the Spirit.
Since I’ve become a disciple of Christ, I haven’t been much for end time narratives of this generation.
My view mirrors the prophecies of Johnny Enlow and others alike: we aren’t going anywhere soon.
Now I’m not so sure.
I don’t say this to scare you, but prepare you. I lived in fear of the end times my entire life up until a couple years ago and I’d never wish that state of mind upon anyone. Everything I’d ever been taught told me that the rapture was coming soon and to be afraid. As a little girl I was so terrified of going to hell I prayed after each and every sin as “insurance”. (I’m so glad I know now that’s not how it works and that Jesus forgave me once and for all when I asked Him into my heart.)

I actually never thought I’d speak on this topic despite it being a pinnacle of the Christian faith. End time fanatics who incite fear and condemnation yet fail to mention God’s great redemption through Jesus placed a bad taste in my mouth for the entire subject.
Even now that I’m no longer afraid because I know my position in Christ, I haven’t spoken about Jesus’ return until now because I didn’t think it was a part of my ministry.
I now realize that is complete foolishness!
My ministry is to inform others of the spiritual inheritance and abundant life we have access to here now, AND train them how to reign here on earth while we joyously await Jesus’ return. In order to do this, I must speak about the fact that Jesus is coming back.
Jesus told us no one will know the day or hour of His return. However He did tell us He is coming soon. Now soon to God could mean tomorrow or it could mean a thousand years, but regardless of the time we know God’s word WILL come to fulfillment.
From everything I’ve come to understand over recent years, we are on the brink of one of the biggest movements of God since Jesus was here on earth. I believe we will see nations and millions of individuals come to know Christ over the next decade.
But something is going on in the spirit right now. We are in the birthing process. This entire decade we’ve experienced painful contractions and now at the end of 2019 we are in full blown labor. Many of us are experiencing warfare like never before. Our health is being attacked, our finances, our families, demons are manifesting left and right. But nothing can prepare us for the joy that’s coming.
I believe this movement of God is what we are birthing right now. The Lord is raising up prophets and disciples who will bring forth the kingdom of God. The enemy is raging and retaliating as we take new ground. We are at a pivotal breaking point in history where the glory of God is about to explode on earth.
We’ve endured for so long and though it’s been tough we’ve pressed on despite the pain because God’s given us a glimpse of the glorious promised land. Now as this year comes to a close the attacks have increased in ferocity trifold. Many of us feel like were losing ground. We’ve fought the good fight for so long but we’ve lost sight of the new territory God’s taking us into. There’s been an unnatural spirit of heaviness upon us and a fogginess clouding our vision. But I declare no more! God is bringing back our clarity and giving us new strength to keep calling down heaven and birth this baby! NO weapon of the enemy formed against us shall prosper.
Pondering all of this in my spirit tonight, it crossed my mind that this intense pressure in the earth and spirit realm right now could be about Jesus’ return. That the birthing pangs were feeling could be the forerunner of Jesus’ mighty return.

I have many reasons for believing my children will see the day of the Lord, and that even I might in my lifetime. But I don’t operate from a fear of that day anymore, and I won’t meet that narrative with fear and trembling any longer like the fanatics do. Jesus said worrying won’t add a day to our life so I’m going to trust Him.
Whatever happens, whether the rapture occurs before the end of the year or the end of the next decade, heaven is coming.
I do find myself thinking about my many friends who don’t know Jesus as Lord. I thought I’d have time to talk to them about accepting Jesus into their lives, and I hold on to hope that all will come to a knowledge of the truth and experience Christ’s great love. But tonight the Spirit impressed upon me an urgency to let people know about His return.
I’ll say it again: no one knows the day or hour.
I don’t want my friends to miss out on eternal life. I’m not here to scare you, I love you and want the best for you. Over and over again the Lord tells us not to fear, and do not be afraid. We can truly do this through Jesus. We don’t have to live in fear of God. Instead we can reside safely WITHIN the fear of God.
You don’t have to wait another moment. You can accept Christ right now and change your life and eternal destiny. Invite Him to be the Lord of your life. Not only will He change your life now, He gives you a new one that lasts forever.
I’ll end with a C.S. Lewis quote:
“Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important.”
Be blessed. Love you guys so much.
“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.”
Romans 8:19-22 NKJV
If you’d like to accept Christ in your life but you don’t know where to start, here’s a simple prayer you can say. Speak it aloud and welcome to your new life!
“Dear Jesus, I realize I need you in my life. I believe you are Lord. Please come into my heart and put your Spirit in me. In Jesus name, Amen.”
What’s next? If you prayed this prayer, congratulations! You’re now a holy one of God!
